After he turned down a move to Sassuolo, now Fiorentina have asked for Zenit St Petersburg defender Emanuel Mammana.
The Argentina international rejected a transfer to the Mapei Stadium after taking a couple of days to consider the proposal, claim La Gazzetta dello Sport.
However, it’s now suggested by Tuttomercatoweb that he could reconsider if Fiorentina was the destination.
This goes back a long way, as the Viola have been heavily linked with Mammana for several years now, since he was at River Plate.
The Sassuolo bid accepted by Zenit was a loan at €1m with option to buy at the end of the season for a further €10m.
