EXCLUSIVE: Revealed, Jagger family’s secret £1.2m Cotswolds bolt-hole

Pictured for the first time, this is the secret Cotswolds bolt-hole that Jade Jagger bought last year for £1.2m as a ‘gathering place’ for the ‘eccentric’ Jagger clan.

The grade II listed Georgian manor house, which is set in a six-acre plot and includes a cricket pitch, is now home to Jade and her husband Adrian Fillary, while an adjoining £895,000 property is intended as a ‘granny pad’ for Mick.

Jade and Adrian have made the 10-bedroom property their home and have already settled in to life at the sleepy village, with frequent visits to the local pub, MailOnline can reveal.

The property lies in six acres of land, including extensive ornamental gardens

Their five-year-old son, Ray, has made friends with the publican’s daughter who has been invited to play dates at the lavish manor house.

As summer approaches, the property is intended to be used for Jagger ‘get-togethers’ for a ‘less than traditional British family’, Jade has revealed. Her father has eight children with five partners.

The local publican, Paul May, 38, told MailOnline: ‘The Jaggers might be known for their eccentricity but they seem to have started a new life here.

‘They are nice, down-to-earth and friendly. They haven’t been shutting themselves away at all. They come in for a drink at the pub quite a lot and little Ray plays with my daughter.

‘They are doing a lot of work on the property, which seems to be directed by Adrian. There’s always construction going on there and it’s going to be spectacular.’

He added: ‘They see it as an actual home, not just a hideaway to be used occasionally when they are back from the Caribbean. There is even a granny pad for Mick.’

The veteran Rolling Stone himself had not yet been spotted in the village, he said.

The elegant Cotswold manor house, set in beautiful gardens and grounds, is accessed via a discreet, tree-lined gravel driveway, away from prying eyes.

Inside, the house has a host of beautiful original features within its well-proportioned rooms.

Most windows look over the formal gardens to the grounds and cricket field beyond. Features such as flagstone floors, original panelling, spectacular fireplaces and cornicing can be found throughout.

The main property is described as having ‘a lovely, relaxed country feel’ by estate agents. Although attached to Mick’s property at the back, the house feels private and secluded and away from passing traffic.

The grounds have many special features, including some impressive mature Scots pine and horse chestnut trees.

In an article for Vogue last year, Jade revealed: ‘My husband and I bought a house in Gloucestershire as a gathering place for all of us. It’s a traditional British home — for a less than traditional British family.

‘At get-togethers this summer, my son will tear around the garden with his niece, who’s less than a month older than him.

‘My father might show up with his new son, Deveraux, the youngest of us all, ready to play hide-and-seek with the children. My half-sister, Georgia May, will likely drop in to catch up with Assisi and Amba — both of whom are more like friends to her than nieces.

‘Maybe it is all part of some eccentricity that we seem famous for — or maybe it’s just part of being a modern family.’
