Luis Suarez could return to action for Atletico Madrid against Real Valladolid this weekend after he was cleared of COVID-19 earlier this week.
The Uruguay forward has not featured for the club since mid last month after returning from international assignments for his country.
He missed out on their 3-0 triumph over Colombia as well as the 2-0 defeat to five-time world champions Brazil last month.

The former Barcelona forward has since then been in isolation but his La Liga club has now confirmed that he will return to first-team training session after he was cleared of the deadly virus.

“Luis Suarez will join the group training sessions of the first team tomorrow at the Wanda de Majadahonda Sports City, after having tested negative in the official LaLiga PCR test.
“The Uruguayan, after overcoming Covid-19 and complying with all health protocols, rejoins the discipline of the group and will be under Simeone’s orders again.”
He will now hope to continue from where he stopped before his set back having scored five goals from six league games since his move from Barca to Atletico in the summer.
Diego Simeone will be counting on the experience of the striker as they host Valladolid as well as their trip to Salzburg for a crunch Champions League group stage tie on Wednesday, December 9.
Atletico are currently second on the La Liga table with 23 points from nine matches and a win could see them rise to the summit if Real Sociedad faulters this weekend.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Luis Suarez is infamous for a lot of things asides his superb footballing skills and the Uruguay international was once again in his cheeky element on Tuesday, November 3 in the Champions League.
