England headed into the game knowing that a spot in the last-16 was all but guaranteed no matter the result on Tuesday.
Wales, meanwhile, needed to win and to hope results went their way elsewhere to secure a spot in the last-16.
At present, England have dominated the match but created very little.
Harry Kane slipped in Marcus Rashford and the Manchester United striker saw his effort saved by an onrushing Danny Ward.
Other than that, neither side had impressed too much, with England fans once again frustrated with their lack of attacking threat despite having so much talent up front.
One player who has come in for heavy criticism from the Three Lions is Jordan Henderson, who has replaced Mason Mount in the eleven following the latter’s poor showing vs the USA.
