Ki-Jana Hoever has joined Premier League club Wolves after spending two years with Liverpool as he looks to press on with his career, Mirror Sport reports.

The youngster who turned 18 in January has disclosed that being at Liverpool was a big honour as the club played a crucial role in his career progression.

“Thank you to everyone at @liverpoolfc who has helped to play a part in my progression over the past 2 years on and off the pitch!” he wrote.

“It’s been an honour to represent such a big club and be around top players and staff every day. I’ll never forget the memories I made here.”

And several of his team-mates have wished him well as he looked to begin life at Wolves with Rhian Brewster saying: “Good luck bro” and Harvey Elliott adding: “All the best brother.”

Santo had his say on the moves of both Hoever and Jota ahead of Wolves’ Premier League clash against Manchester City on Monday, and seemed satisfied with the outcome.

“Liverpool are going to have a great player and boy, and Ki has a bright future ahead of him,” he said.

On the flip side, the reigning Premier League champions have agreed £45million deal with fellow English club Wolves over the signing of Diogo Jota.

Despite winning the League title last season in remarkable style, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is still trying to bolster his squad this term.

The German tactician made Jota his priority after landing super midfielder Thiago Alcantara from Bayern Munich who beat PSG last term to win the Champions League.

The 23-year-old Portuguese attacker will be back-up for main men Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino at Anfield.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Gareth Bale has sealed loan switch to his former club Tottenham for £12million, with reports that the contract could eventually extend for a further year.

The Welshman received heroic welcome by the club fans when he arrived at their training ground on Friday, September 18 as he seals his move from Real Madrid.

The North London club has agreed to pay a percentage of his wages in a bargain deal which amounts to around £12million for the season – and they will officially confirm it.
