Ed Sheeran had a royally good afternoon when he sat alongside Prince Edward, David Cameron and a host of other A-listers at the ICC Cricket 2019 World Cup.
The singer, 28, kicked back with a beer as he sat with the Prince on one side and his father John on the other, as he watched the England lose their match against Australia from the grandstand hospitality box at Lords in London on Tuesday.
The Shape Of You hitmaker was in hysterics as he joked about with pals as well as mingling with royalty at the sports game, which saw the home nation lose to the Aussies, who sealed their place in the semi-finals.

Ed was of course, casually dressed, wearing his signature T-shirt with blue jeans, leaving his many tattoos on display as he and his father chewed the fat.
He was pictured shaking hands with Prince Edward, who he sat next to and a row behind former Prime Minister David Cameron.
Homeland star Damian Lewis donned a smart grey blazer and shades as he drank pints of beer, making the group laugh as he leaped over rows of seats to get back to his chair to be seated next to his brother.
Sitting in the row in front was Muse rocker Matt Bellamy, who was also seen talking to Ed.

Farage was seen chuckling with his pals as he drank glasses of red wine, as well as champagne throughout the day.

Recently, Ed has returned from Ibiza where he was holidaying with his wife Cherry.
Also the singer revealed his collaborations with Cardi B, Justin Bieber and Eminem as he released the tracklist ahead of his hotly-anticipated album.
Ed wed Cherry, just before Christmas, in a romantic ceremony which saw just 40 close friends and family in attendance, according to The Sun.
A source said: ‘Ed got married a few days before Christmas. It was very quiet – just Ed’s oldest school pals, limited family and the priest.
