Dimitar Berbatov has claimed that age won’t be a problem for Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo if there is a chance for him to make a return to Premier League side Man United.
There are current uncertainties surrounding the future of Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus this season as the Old Lady are currently struggling for Champions League spot.
And as Cristiano Ronaldo approaches the final 12-months of his contract at Juventus, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been linked with a move to many clubs.
Recently, Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother also claimed that she would try and convince her son to make a return to Sporting Lisbon where he started his career.
This comes after Sporting Lisbon were crowned champions of Portugal for the first time in 19 years.
According to the report on GOAL, Berbatov who played with Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United stated that it will be nice for the Portuguese to return to England.
“Juventus are in a bit of trouble at the minute and it’s looking like they may miss out on Champions League football.
“I’ve read that Cristiano Ronaldo will be leaving. If that is the case, I’m sure people connected to United would love for him to come home.
“He’s 36 but with his shape and form, I don’t see that being an issue for him if he was to come back to United.”
