Boca Juniors say they hope Daniele De Rossi makes his debut for the club on August 14.
De Rossi recently completed a free transfer to Boca, the midfielder signing a one-year contract after he ended his lifelong association with Roma.
“We’re doing physical and tactical work,” said Coach Gustavo Alfaro after the Argentine giants’ 0-0 draw with Huracan on Sunday.
“We’ll see, we’re focusing especially on physical fitness. The objective is to give him his debut in the Copa Argentina against Almagro. We’ll see if we’re able to.”
