Matthijs de Ligt has arrived for his Juventus medical ahead of a long-awaited €75m transfer from Ajax.
De Ligt landed in Turin late last night, and Juve’s official Twitter account snapped him checking into J Medical for tests.
He will then sign a five-year contract with the Bianconeri, worth a reported €7.5m a season plus €4.5m in add-ons and bonuses.
The Dutchman has long been the Old Lady’s top defensive target following the exits of Andrea Barzagli and Martin Caceres.
Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, Manchester United and Bayern Munich had also been on his trail.
Despite only turning 20 next month, De Ligt already leaves behind the Ajax captaincy.
