David Beckham becomes the third Manchester United legend to be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.
The 46-year-old was a household name during his 11-year reign at Old Trafford winning 12 major titles in the process.
He has now joined fellow Red Devils icons Eric Cantona and Roy Keane, while Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry are the founding members.

Dennis Bergkamp, Frank Lampard, and Steven Gerard have also been named in the group of exceptional players during their playing days.

Beckham grew through the ranks at United and made his first-team debut appearance in September 1992.
He was part of the Sir Alex Ferguson team that won three titles including the Champions League at the end of the 1998-99 season.
The former England winger still holds the Premier League record for most goals from free-kicks despite last playing in the league in 2003.
Beckham, while reacting to the award told premierleague.com:
“It’s an honour to be inducted into the inaugural Premier League Hall of Fame alongside these legends of the game and league.
“The Premier League was such an important part of my career and life and I’m delighted to be recognised alongside these icons who I played with, competed with and looked up to.
Beckham scored a total of 127 goals and 205 assists in 718 appearances for all the clubs he played for before hanging his boots in 2013.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is the latest former player to be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.
The 42-year-old former midfielder retired as the Blues’ all-time highest goalscorer with 211 goals and 150 assists in 648 appearances across competitions.
He was also part of the team that brought the Champions League to Stamford Bridge for the first time in 2012 following their crucial win over Bayern Munich.
