Recently on social media, Nigerians have been buzzing about the news of talented reggae and dancehall singer, Cynthia Morgan and her former manager, Joy Tongo as well as her former record label which was owned by Jude Okoye.
There had been reports that Morgan claimed her social media accounts had been taken from her by her former management and this led to outbursts on social media with people calling out Jude and Joy.
This also led to Jude denying Cynthia’s claims and her former manager also warning the singer to tell fans the truth before releasing a statement of her own.
Morgan has now fired back at her former management. According to her, if Jude is saying that she owes him money, that means he did not do his job well.
Speaking further, the singer said that she does not really blame Jude because the witch in the matter is her former manager, Tongo.
Morgan said that if she was to take sides with anybody, it would be with Jude because Joy was the middle person and she was a liar.
She said: “Jude was confused. The witch in here actually…I’m not going to take sides with anybody at this point but if I was going to take sides with anybody it would be Jude. Joy was a liar. She was the middle person and she wasn’t a good middle man in between I and Jude. I don’t know what she actually wanted.”
She continued: “I really respected Jude. If you know me, I respect my elders a lot. These two people played their part and it was disastrous.”
The singer, as well as the interviewer, also denied ever saying that Morgan claimed her Instagram account was taken away from her. She, however, said that she decided to stay away from social media.
