BATHINDA: A couple from Moga, presently stranded in Malaysia, has sent a video clip seeking the help of Union government and the Punjab government to ensure their safe return to the state. The five-year-old daughter of the couple is with their relatives at Moga.

In the video clip, the couple, Gurvinder Singh and Rajwinder Kaur, say that they have exhausted all the money they had and are not in a position to even pay the rent of the room where they are living or buy essential medicines.

Due to the lockdown, they can’t do anything to earn money and are now left with no ration. In the clip, the couple say that they went to Malaysia a year ago in search of greener pastures with the help of some agent.
