Coronavirus test on third person in Oklahoma comes back negative, health officials say

Oklahoma health officials announced Thursday that the coronavirus test on a person in our state came back negative.According to the Oklahoma State Department of Health, officials received confirmation from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention that the test results for the third person under investigation in our state for the 2019 Novel Coronavirus are negative.Currently, there are no additional cases pending testing results in Oklahoma. The number of people being tested in Oklahoma can be tracked here. Officials said they are monitoring travelers returning to Oklahoma from China. They are notified of travelers who have been screened by the CDC as they return from China to one of 11 airports in the United States. Those who arrive without signs or symptoms of of the virus are allowed to return to the state and are then monitored and restricted from public settings including work, school and health care settings.
