Chelsea Football Club is reportedly furious after midfielder, Mason Mount, left self-isolation to join West Ham star, Declan Rice for a kickabout on Sunday amid coronavirus pandemic, according to the Mirror UK.

The Blues had told Mount and the rest of the club’s players to self-isolate under government guidelines after winger, Callum Hudson-Odoi, tested positive for Coronavirus last Thursday.

But instead, Mount joined close friend Rice for a public kickabout at the Trent Park Football center, near Barnet, over the weekend.

The 21-year-old now faces a major dressing down from Chelsea chiefs, having been told to stay at home.

The England international is also facing a club fine, while Chelsea manager, boss Frank Lampard will undoubtedly take a dim view of his actions.

Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, has become a global problem with Europe now at the center of the outbreak.

All major sporting events have now been put on hold in a bid to prevent the spread of the dreaded disease.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has since declared Coronavirus a global pandemic.
