N’golo Kante was named the man of the match for both Champions League semifinal games between Chelsea and Real Madrid.

The Frenchman helped the Blues advance to the final of the continental championship on 3-1 aggregate following their 2-0 triumph at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, May 5.

Goals from Timo Werner and Mason Mount ensured Thomas Tuchel’s men maintain their impressive performances having started the season under Frank Lampard on a poor note.

Meanwhile, the French World Cup winner stunned his fans after leaving Stamford Bridge in a Mini Cooper car as reported by Sport Bible quoting Twitter posts

Kante was almost everywhere during their first meeting at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium last week and able to replicate the performance at the Bridge yesterday in their 2-0 win.

He bossed the midfield despite the presence of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos in the Los Blancos’ squad in the game.

The two-time Premier League winner with Leicester City and Chelsea played a crucial role in both goals as his superb link-up in midfield led to Werner heading home the rebound after Kai Havertz’s effort hit the crossbar.

He was also involved in the build-up to the second game as they set up all English final with Manchester City on May 29.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Chelsea will play Premier League rivals in the final of this season’s Champions League.

The Blues saw off Real Madrid in a crunch fixture in the semi-finals to book a slot in the last round of the European competition for the first time since 2012 when they also won the title.

The Thomas Tuchel-tutored side secured a 2-1 goal aggregate against the La Liga giants to progress, with Timo Werner scoring the all-important goal during the second leg of the tie played on the night of Wednesday, May 5, at Stamford Bridge.
