Former Chelsea captain John Terry is said to be a lover of exotic properties and as he is estimated to be worth a £38million, he and his family are accustomed to living in one of Surrey’s most sought-after areas.

The ex-defender who retired from playing football in 2019 now has enough time for other things since leaving his £170,000-a-week playing career.

According to SunSport, Terry is a real estate merchant and has made about £20million in property deals, with latest reports that he can now bulldoze one of his mansions where he wants to build an exotic edifice.

It was gathered that the former England international purchased the Tandem House which was his third property for £4.5million and has now won planning permission to demolish it.

Terry wants to build two luxury apartments in its place, a four-bed and another six-bed which will be equipped with par, games room as well as drawing room.

He also owns a £6.5million former family home which features a cinema room, gym as well as an astro turf which he sold to make a profit of £2.8million

Another Terry’s six-bedroom luxury house has been put up for sale since March for £5.5million and no buyer has been seen yet due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

A few weeks after the lockdown rules were lifted, the former Chelsea captain has reduced the price to £5m in order to get rid of it as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Terry is reportedly making efforts to leave relegation-threatened Premier League club Aston Villa to become the new manager at Championship side Bristol City.
