Desperate search for seven-year-old boy who was snatched from school by a man on a motorbike ends as he’s found safe

  • Phoenix White was taken from Harrisdale Primary School in Kenwick in Perth 
  • He and his dad were seen on Tonkin Highway, near Hale Road, at 1.40pm
  • The child was found safe and well on Wednesday night

A seven-year-old boy who was snatched from school by his father on a motorbike has been found. 

Phoenix White was taken from Harrisdale Primary School in Kenwick in south east Perth at about 9.40am on Wednesday morning, police said. 

His father Shannon John White was seen putting him on the back of his red and black motorcycle, Western Australia Police said, adding that he was in ‘imminent danger’. 

But police said late on Wednesday night the child was found safe.

They thanked the public for their assistance.
