Governor Samuel Ortom has strongly condemned the harassment of muslim traders at Modern Market, Makurdi on Friday.

DAILY POST gathered that some youths had stormed the market to harass traders they identified as Muslims.

Reacting, Ortom in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Terver Akase said no one has the right to prevent others from worshiping where it pleases them.

He charged security agencies to fish out the culprits and apprehend them for prosecution.

The Governor further warned youths in the states to avoid acts capable of creating tension as anyone found fomenting trouble will be brought to justice.
