Veteran singer, Charles Oputa aka Charly Boy, recently took to social media to call out the Bayelsa state government for allegedly snubbing a first class Law graduate of the state.
Charly Boy said that the governor, Duoye Diri, instead recognised BBNaija 2020 star and runner-up, Nengi Hampson, and honoured her with a state appointment while also declaring her as the role model to the Bayelsa state girl child.
The singer in his post said that it was a misplacement of moral priority and he then went ahead to celebrate the unnamed graduate for her achievement.
According to veteran singer, Charly Boy, the Bayelsa state government snubbed a first class graduate only to give BBNaija star, Nengi, an appointment.

He said that the unnamed lady was a first class graduate from the Niger Delta University’s Faculty of Law as well as a first class graduate of the Nigerian law school.
According to him, she was the true face of the Bayelsa girl child.
He wrote: “The young lady with white is a first class graduate of the Niger Delta University, Faculty of Law, as well as a first class graduate Nigeria Law School… she was not honoured by her Bayelsa State Government…
In another development, a girl, who is alleged to be a Third Class Graduate and a participant(A Runner Up) in the “Big Brother Naija” show , was given a State Reception and was also honoured with a Government Appointment and was also declared the Role Model to the Bayelsa State Girl Child ( the Face of the Bayelsa Girl Child)
What an irony and a misplacement of moral priority!

In other related news, Legit.ng also earlier reported that fellow BBNaija star, Trikytee, was also given a political appointment by the Bayelsa state government.
Timmy Sinclair aka Trikytee, took to his official page on Instagram to inform his fans and followers that he had been appointed as a senior special assistant to the Bayelsa state governor, Douye Diri.
Trikytee accompanied his announcement with a video showing him in the company of the governor.
