Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has reportedly emerged as a top transfer target for new Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman this transfer window.
The Catalans are said to have reached out to the Gunners over a possible transfer of the Spaniard as the new La Liga season draws near.
Reports reveal that the Blaugrana will rather sign the 25-year-old on loan, but if the North Londoners reject the bid, then Barca have to offer them a player plus cash for the defender.
SunSport reveals that Bellerin will cost the Spanish League giants between £18 million and £23m but that appears too high owing to a huge financial crisis they suffered over the coronavirus pandemic.

Paris Saint Germain have also shown interest in the Spanish defender but the Gunners turned down a loan bid from the French champions this week.
Serie A giants Juventus also wants his services, however, he seems to be a key member of Mikel Arteta’s team.
He made just 15 appearances last campaign but Barcelona are determined to sign him as a replacement for Nelson Semedo.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Emiliano Martinez who was left out of the Arsenal squad that defeated Fulham in the Premier League opening fixture has agreed a £20 million deal to join Aston Villa.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper will proceed to the north London club to undergo medical by Sunday, September 13 to complete the switch.
According to UK outlet Independent, Martinez who has traveled to Birmingham is expected to sign a four-year deal at Villa.
Villa who survived the drop on the final matchday of last season had an initial £15 million bid rejected by the Gunners who want £20m.
