Arsenal progress to the fourth round of the EFL Cup following their 2-0 win over fellow Premier League side Leicester City.
An own goal from Christian Fuchs and an Edward Nketiah’s late minute strike were all that the Gunners needed to maintain their 100 percent winning run so far this season.
Neither side failed to find the back of the net all through the opening half with most of the efforts failing to find the back of the net.

But coach Mikel Arteta’s men came back for the remainder of the meeting with more focus and they were able to break the deadlock in the 57th minute after mounting so much pressure on the hosts.

The 34-year-old deflected Nicolas Pepe’s cross from the right side of the post into his own net as they conceded for the first time in the game three minutes before the hour mark.
Brendan Rodgers men in turn tried equalising with Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho making some superb runs but his final balls were totally poor and unable to help his teammates score.
The game was advancing towards the final whistle before Nketiah doubled his side’s lead on the stroke of 90 minutes.
He fumbled into the six-yard box, regained balance and finally put the ball into the net as the Emirates Stadium outfit book their spot in the fourth round of the championship.
Legit.ng earlier reported that a goal each from Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood were all Manchester United needed to cruise to the fourth round of the EFL Cup.
The Red Devils had to step up their game towards the end of the meeting to ensure absolute victory over the Championship side, Luton Town in the third round of their encounter.
Though not convincing early enough in the opening half of the fixture, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer bounced back to winning ways after their 3-1 Premier League defeat to Crystal Palace at Old Trafford a few days ago.
