The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State has alleged that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has recruited 1,000 thugs from neighbouring states to disrupt Saturday’s House of Assembly by-election.
The Chairman of the party, Lawwali Liman, briefing reporters on Tuesday at the party’s secretariat in Gusau, alleged that the hoodlums were harboured by one of Governor Bello Muhammad’s associates.

PDP, in a swift reaction by the Publicity Secretary, Faruk Ahmed, debunked the allegation, saying it is false.
