Inter are hard at work to close a deal for Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez.
It broke late last night that Sanchez had agreed terms with Inter, and Gianluca Di Marzio reports talks are ongoing between the two clubs over a season-long loan with an option to buy for around €15m.
Di Marzio adds negotiations currently centre on how much the Nerazzurri will put towards his wages, with United due to cover the rest.
Nonetheless, the Sky Sport Italia journalist assures this is just a ‘detail’ and that a transfer is about to go through.
The former Udinese star, who turns 31 in December, has emerged as the Beneamata’s top pick to supplement Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez after Edin Dzeko signed a new contract with Roma.
He won 19, drew eight and lost 10 of his 37 matches with Lukaku at Old Trafford.
