Leonel who is the father of Argentine striker Sergio Aguero has slammed Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola claiming that the Spaniard did not treat his son well at the Etihad.
Sergio Aguero’s father made this remarks while responding to question on whether he was moved to Pep Guardiola’s public tears on his son’s departure at the Premier League club.
Aguero came off the bench to score two goals for Manchester City in his last Premier League game for the Citizens before he moved to Spanish giants Barcelona.
And in a farewell message to the Argentine, Pep Guardiola burst into tears claiming that it will be hard for Manchester City to find replacement for Sergio Aguero.
According to the report on UK Sun and ESPN, Leonel explained that Pep Guardiola was only pretending to love his son.
“No, I don’t believe him. He was never sincere with my son. He never wanted him in my opinion.
“He wants to be the protagonist in his clubs rather than the player.”

Leonel also claimed that Chelsea and Arsenal were also interested in signing his son, but he preferred to move to the Catalans where he will play with national teammate Lionel Messi.
