Nigerians seem to be rising to the aide of a woman who lost her child days ago to poising. A recent video that surfaced online showed a good Samaritan giving her a phone.
The phone was given to her so that people who want to help her can reach out to her easily. The man also got her a sim and set up the mobile device for her as he handed her the gadget’s receipt.
The helper, Mazi Collins Kanu, also opened an account number for her for a quick help. On his Facebook page, he revealed how he had to track the woman’s address through an ambulance driver.
Mazi said he had to get a phone as many people have indicated an interest in helping the woman.
A part of his post read:
“Good day my people, first I’m not doing all this for my personal gain or what so ever… we all remembered this woman whose 5yr old and an only child died yesterday as a result of poison at UNTH ituku/ozalla, I picked interest on her when I saw her tears yesterday at the hospital and I made myself a promise to help her the little way I can…”
