BriefsAPARTMENT COMMUNITY BREAKS GROUND: Housing Trust Group has closed on financing and has broken ground on Osprey Pointe, a 110-unit affordable apartment community at 13021 U.S. 301 in Dade City. There will be 99 units set aside for residents earning at or below 60 percent of the Pasco County median income, and 11 units set aside for those earning at or below 40 percent of median income. Rents will range from $502 to $1,044 per month. The property is scheduled to have units available by April 2020.TRANSWESTERN SELLS OFFICE CAMPUS: Transwestern Commercial Services announced it closed the $9.08 million sale of the Counsel Square Office Campus, an eight-building, 11,757-square-foot office park at 7545-7627 Little Road in New Port Richey. The office park is 71-percent leased, with 68 percent of tenancy from high-credit government leases.BLAZE PIZZA OPENS: Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza announced the opening of a second location in the Tampa Bay area. Trinity Blaze Pizza opened Oct. 7 at 3194 Word Way, in Mitchell Ranch Plaza, Trinity (near Home Goods and Michael’s). The pizzeria is 2,500 squarefeet and offers seating for more than 70 inside, with nearly 20 additional seats on a covered outdoor patio. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily, and the new restaurant has created 50 local jobs. The first location opened in Lutz in January. Along with 11-inch individual-sized pizzas, the Trinity restaurant will offer Blaze’s new, larger 14-inch sharable pizzas for delivery and carryout, available exclusively by ordering online or through the Blaze Pizza App. The new Trinity Blaze Pizza aims to build strong roots in the community by offering an in-restaurant fundraiser program that returns 20 percent of an event’s proceeds back to local organizations.BOAT CLUB EXPANDS TO PASCO: Freedom Boat Club, the nation’s largest boat club and boat club franchiser, has announced its 200th franchise location. Glenn Bergoffen, owner of the Freedom Boat Club of Tampa Bay franchise, has added two locations on the Pithlachascotee River, at 5400 Baylea Ave., and 4800 Ebbtide Lane, both in Port Richey.
