The Nigerian entertainment industry can be quite daunting for newbies especially when they are still trying to make a decision whether they are on the right path. However, some veterans in the industry have been instrumental in giving these freshers confidence to pursue their dream.
Just recently, popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, took to his Instagram page to appreciate his senior colleague, Larry Koldsweat.
Despite it not being the veteran actor’s birthday, Yul explained that he wanted to celebrate him for being instrumental in his journey in the film industry.
Yul Edochie praised Larry Koldsweat for encouraging him during his early days in the industry.

Yul recounted how he starred Koldsweat in his directing debut movie in 2006 and how the man was impressed and encouraged him to keep at it.
The young actor explained further that Larry continued to call him to ask if jobs were forthcoming and even helped him secure a job in Lagos and wanted to make sure he got paid.
Yul said Koldsweat put his hand on his head and prayed for him after he showed up in Lagos for the job without confirming whether he would get paid or not.

And the rest is history.

In other news, Legit.ng reported that actress, Kate Henshaw, recounted how popular comedian, Bovi Ugboma, saved her from embarrassment as she celebrated him on his birthday.
According to Kate, she and Bovi were to host an event in Warri many years ago when her period started and left a stain on her outfit. The film star said that she was aware of the damage that had been done and when Bovi noticed it, he gave her his jacket to save her from the embarrassment that would have ensued.
