Zlatan Ibrahimovic won’t stop scoring despite age 38 as the Swede continues to shatter the records and statistics in the world of football he has created for himself.

Ibra bagged two goals to help AC Milan defeat Bologna in their opening Serie A fixture of the season 2-0.

The Swedish ace single-handedly gave the Rossoneri a two-goal lead over Bologna to claim their first three points of the season, and with those goals, the striker managed to accomplish a never-witnessed feat in football history.

He has now scored in 23 consecutive seasons and in four separate decades.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic recently signed a new one-year contract with the Italian giants after much speculation about leaving the San Siro.

The 38-year-old was rewarded for his impressive spell last campaign and he will earn around £6million for the entire year.

The Rossoneri made a statement regarding the development with Ibrahimovic: “AC Milan is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement for the contract renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, extending the partnership with the Rossoneri Club until 30 June 2021.”

Milan finished sixth in Serie A winning nine and drawing three in their last 12 games of the 2019-20 campaign.

The former European champions have now made it back to the continental stage where they will be playing in the Europa League this season.

Recall that the Swede posted an image of himself in the club’s no.11 shirt and provided an epic caption “I’m just warming up” to hint he is not ready to quit the game despite his age.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Cristiano Ronaldo has now scored in 19 consecutive top-flight league seasons after he found the back of the net in the Italia Serie A on Sunday, September 21 against Sampdoria.

The 35-year-old who was denied on several occasions eventually fired home his side’s third goal of the game after Dejan Kulusevski and Leonardo Bonucci had taken the game beyond the visitors.

Ronaldo’s goal came just two minutes from time after Aaron Ramsey’s pass had split the visitors’ defence towards the Portuguese who fired home to the far corner in style to make it 3-0 with Juve grabbing all three points in their season opener.
