Ahead of the governorship election holding Ekiti state in 2022, the leader of INRI Evangelical spiritual church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has predicted what would happen in the state.
PM News reports that he said the only way the People Democratic Party (PDP) can be victorious and dislodge the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state is by choosing Segun Oni as its candidate for the election.
Legit.ng gathered that the clergyman, however, stated that the PDP would give an “easy victory” to the APC if it fails to pick Oni as governorship candidate.
Primate Ayodele has said that PDP would take over Ekiti state in 2022 if it picks Segun Oni as its governorship candidate.

Primate Ayodele explained that there is no other anointed candidate in Ekiti PDP apart from Oni.
He said:
“There is no anointed candidate in the PDP in Ekiti, he is the only one who can give PDP victory. Every other candidate should not waste money, Segun Oni is the only one who can give PDP victory.”
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that Primate Ayodele urged Nigerians to be prayerful ahead of the challenges in the New Year, as the first quarter of the year would be very tough for Nigeria.
It was reported that the general-overseer stated this while sharing some prophecies concerning the year 2021.
While explaining that northerners would not take it easy for any tribe to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari, the cleric said an Igbo presidency will not work because they will betray themselves.

He also noted that the presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed will be rubbished. The religious leader warned the former Lagos state governor not to try contesting.
Primate Ayodele said those who may come out to contest the presidential include Aminu Tambuwal, Bukola Saraki, Kayode Fayemi, and Rotimi Ameachi.
