Governor Rauf Aregbesola, represented by his deputy, Otunba TitiLaoye Tomori noted that the curent economic realities and government’s determination to provide a more conducive environment for the women to do business informed the decision to move the loan up from N6. N6.1 million to N12.2million .

He disclosed that the empowerment efforts of government is geared toward eradication of poverty among the rural poor and to also boost the capacity of women city dwellers to do business.

The governor charged beneficiaries of the loan facilities to maximise the opportunity by making the best use of the facility so as to pay back on time and give room for others to benefit.

Aregbesola explained that the rationale behind distribution of drugs and medical consumables was to further his administration’s commitment to the promotion of healthy living among the populace which will in turn increase their productivity level.
