LAM ADESINA’S DEATH: A RUDE SHOCK, WE LOST A MAN OF HONOUR SAYS BOLA ILORI , COMMISERATES WITH HIS WIDOW, CHILDREN, PEOPLE OF OYO STATE & THE ENTIRE POLITICAL FAMILY.
The Special Adviser to the State Governor of Osun on Environment & Sanitation; Hon Bola Ilori has described as a rude shock the death of the Elderstateman and a Political figure of Ibadan who is also one of the National Leaders of our Great Party, ACN; Alhaji Lamidi Onaolapo Adesina who died on Sunday Morning.
In a statement released by his media office shortly after the burial of the great politician in Ibadan yesterday, Ilori said our Great Lam is a dedicated politician, foremost defender of democracy and indeed a man of honour who was always a good listener.
“I do not really know how to express myself in the situation of the sudden death of our Great Lam, Alhaji Lam Adesina has been a dedicated politician, a foremost defender of democracy and an honourable man who will ever state the situation as they are and it will take a very long time before one can really think of who will fill the vacuum that his death has created considering the level at which the Great Lam used to operate in the understanding of Nigeria and indeed Yoruba Politics ” Ilori lamented.
Ilori then commiserated with the widow of the deceased; Alhaja Adesina, the children, the good people of Oyo State and the entire political family in the country and urged them to take solace in the fact that Alhaji Lam Adesina lived an exemplary life which was purposeful and fulfilling
“We want to commiserate with Mama Lam Adesina and the children of the deceased and indeed the entire political family in the country especially the Yoruba nation and urge them to take solace in the fact that Great Lam lived an exemplary and fulfilling live of great positive impact on the welfare of the people which is the paramount law” the statement concluded.
