FIFA RANKING: NIGERIA NOW 28 IN THE WORLD

Nigeria has moved up three places in the new FIFA rankings released early today by football’s governing body. In the latest ranking, the Super Eagles, who were ranked 31st in April, now occupying the 28th spot in the world, moving three places ahead of Norway, Japan and the USA.

This rise has put Nigeria fourth in Africa behind Ivory Coast, Ghana and Mali. Ranked 12th, Ivory Coast are Africa’s highest rated team

There are no changes at the very top as the highest 10 ranked teams in the world remain untouched with Spain remaining number one followed by Germany, Argentina, Croatia and Portugal.
