Adamawa Govt cancelled Reconstruction Of Schools and Hospitals
The Adamawa State Governor, Mohammed Jibrilla has flagged off the reconstruction and rehabilitation of schools and hospitals in Numan Local Government and has promised to extend it to other areas in the state.
The development is coming as a relief to residents as the state’s health and education sectors have suffered huge dilapidation following attacks by Boko Haram insurgents.
Also as a way of easing their pain, the Nigerian Army recently donated instructional materials to school children at the Malkohi Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp in the State.
The Malkohi IDPs camp in Yola South Local Government Area of the state is one of the three official camps out of nine initially established for victims of Boko Haram insurgency.
The facility now accommodates about 1500 IDPs out of which about 500 of them are enrolled in the primary and nursery school established by the military in the camp.
